Twenty-eight new freshmen from Cobleskill to Hoosick Falls and Catskill to Guilderland started their four-year learning careers at Tech Valley High School on Wednesday.
"We are very excited about this year and this group of freshmen," Principal Dan Liebert said.
The students took part in an ice-breaker session were they attempted to learn each other's names and followed that with an orientation from Principal Dan Liebert.
During that session, the students learned the scope of their responsibilities, from working together in groups to meeting project deadlines and communicating with the school's business partners.
Here, freshman Rebecca Bulich from the Catskill Central School District is taking part in an “ice-breaker” name game.
The regional public high school draws students from seven Capital Region and Mid-Hudson Valley counties.
Sophomores, juniors and seniors return to TVHS on Thursday for orientation and Friday is the first day of classes at the regional public high school.
