Sophomores at Tech Valley High School are going to be broadcasting their knowledge of stem cell research

The students are creating podcasts about stem cell research that will air on WRPI on December 1.

The students have been researching stem cells with various outside experts, including those at the Wadsworth Institute, in preparation for the podcasts and radio show.

"They are researching the breakthroughs in stem cell research and the controversies that surround the use of stem cells," said their teacher Leah Penniman.

Radio experts from WRPI recently spoke to the class about broadcasting, giving tips on how they should record their podcasts. They also prepared the students for their appearance on the radio show and spoke about life in the college radio business.

The student's findings will air around 10 a.m.
