TVHS students sculpt tea pots and sculptures |

The Tech Valley High School freshman art class is sculpting tea pots out of clay.

The students in Ed Coolidge’s art class are painting and then firing the pots in a kiln. Some students are creating actual usable tea pots while others are incorporating tea pots into a larger sculpture like a dragon.

TVHS recently purchased the kiln with donations made to donorschose.org. Cooling appealed for assistance in collecting $1,800 to buy the kiln.
