Tech Valley High School students are getting a better understanding of copyright laws pertaining to the internet and technology by an Albany attorney.
According to the school, Bill Dailey, a private practice attorney spoke to a group of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors about his work in copyright and intellectual property rights.
"He works with companies with a focus on high-tech business and he spoke about how the law applies to the products they create and the products their employees create," said Denise Zieske, TVHS business partnership coordinator.
The Wednesday presentation was the first brunch-and-learn at the school, which is being considered as a replacement to the lunch-and-learn series.
The sessions are held periodically through the school year and are designed to provide information to students on Capital Region businesses and opportunities.
