Time for Tasting, Season for Helping | Community Spirit

TROY – On Thursday, October 25, The Commission on Economic Opportunity will be holding their fifth annual “Time for Tasting, Season for Helping” tasting event.  

Participants will sample food from a variety of local restaurants, including, Cabot Cheese, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, El Mariachi, 1760 Manor Inn, Broadway Brew Pub, and more.

Also included in the evening’s activities is a cupcake competition between several local bakeries including Coccadotts, The Cookie Factory, Sweet Sues, and more.

A few local celebrities, including NewsChannel 13’s Tim Drawbridge, will be judging the cupcake competition as well as event participants.

There will also be a silent and live auction. Bidding items include a Jets ticket package, ValleyCats box tickets, flat screen TV, and much more.

The event will take place at 5:30p.m. at the Franklin Terrace Ballroom.

Tickets are $30 for regular tickets or $100 to be a part of the Honorary Committee.
