TVHS students plan trip to Haiti | News

In early 2013, six Tech Valley High School students and teacher Leah Penniman will be traveling to Cormier, Leogone in Haiti to bring fruit trees and teach the natives how to plant them properly.

"We view this as a fantastic opportunity to not only teach the students about science and agriculture, but the world and to open their eyes to the conditions so many people exist in," said Principal Dan Liebert.
