Capital Region welcomes mild weather on 1987 snow storm anniversary
Even though it rained all day Thursday, it has been unseasonably mild.
It was a very different picture 25 years ago to the date.
On this date in 1987 the Capital Region got a sizeable snow storm.
Albany got the least - just over 6 inches, Columbia County received 10 inches. The Catskills, Rensselaer County and Bennington County got a foot or more and Berkshire County had a foot and a half.
Power was knocked out to hundreds of thousands - some for days.
