TVHS students get reactions during project | Parents & kids
Title (Max 100 Characters)
Students got a “reaction” at Tech Valley High School with the help of Coca Cola and baking soda.
TVHS students worked to inflate a balloon as part of the Rube Goldberg Team. The hope is to inflate a balloon so it floats on its own.
The project is one part of a larger Rube Goldberg device that will be displayed at the high school’s Design Expo later in the spring.
According to a statement, the project is named after and inspired by cartoonist Reuben Lucius Goldberg and Rube Goldberg contraptions are typically a collection of bits and pieces of found objects and mechanical parts put together in a “whimsical and unlikely working configuration that solves an otherwise easy problem.”
